You Are Here For Some Reason

Are you tired of your witty comments about pointless television programming, fashion trends, political discourse, and awesome music being senselessly pushed down the Facebook feeds of your dearest and truest friends? Do you ever make an hilarious comment about something on VH1 only to see the same hilarious comment on The Soup or Infomania?

These media types are stealing your thoughts!

It's true. And the only way to combat the mega-conglomerates and multitudinous Twitter feeds is this: a Web site.

Like most of you out there, we here at Later Losers have a love/hate relationship with media. We love good shows, hate dumb ones, love talking about both, hate the suspension of disbelief required to watch television commercials, love good music, hate trashy books, and so on. While we may think that My Antonio is one of the dumbest shows out there, it still ends up on our screen.

We have no excuse for this transgression!

So look, here is our site. We promise to write about fun, exciting, maddening, lovely, stupid, important, annoying and pointless things in the most interesting way possible.

Welcome. For your troubles, here is the worst thing I've seen so far this week:

*Embed a link in your comment this way: [http://www.yourweblink.com Here's the text]
*Italicize with double apostrophes, not quotation marks, like so: I ''really'' hate George Lucas.
*Bold text is done with triple quoation mareks, thusly: You talkin' to '''me'''?
